Born in Amritsar, Punjab, Ranjay's entrepreneurial spirit emerged early, fueled by a relentless drive for business excellence. His 2003 visit to New Zealand inspired him to embrace its vibrant economy and culture. Despite challenges adapting to a new country, Ranjay's passion and boldness enabled him to start fresh with dedication and openness.
In 2011, he transformed his family business by shifting from retail to manufacturing, founding Slumberzone in Auckland. Under his leadership, Slumberzone gained nationwide recognition for quality and innovation. The company manufactures premium beds and mattresses using patented technologies like Coppertine springs and hybrid luxury materials, all designed with customer well-being in mind. Features such as adaptive health technology and a 10-year warranty highlight their commitment to excellence.
Ranjay's strategic vision emphasizes indigenous manufacturing and advanced technology to create tailored bedding solutions. This helped Slumberzone grow to 19 showrooms and 40 retailers across New Zealand, establishing it as a leading brand. Currently, they have more than 60 retailers, including 20 own retail outlets. Focused on future growth, Ranjay continues to drive innovation, positioning Slumberzone as an agile and responsive industry leader.
